Description

A photograph of a woman posed by a Tannoy radio loudspeaker, taken by George Woodbine for the Daily Herald newspaper on 18 August, 1932. Displayed as part of the Tannoy stand, this loudspeaker was the largest at Radiolympia, the radio exhibition held at Olympia, London. This photograph has been selected from the Daily Herald Archive, a collection of over three million photographs. The archive holds work of international, national and local importance by both staff and agency photographers.
