A photograph taken by George Woodbine for the Daily Herald newspaper on 18 August, 1932. The glas sides to the cabinet reveal the radio set's internal speakers and valves. Displayed by His Master's Voice (HMV), the radiogram combined a radio and gramophone, and was the most expensive set in the Radiolympia show that year. This photograph has been selected from the Daily Herald Archive, a collection of over three million photographs. The archive holds work of international, national and local importance by both staff and agency photographers.
