On the roof top of a well known London store a chef prepares the lunches for several hundred customers. A four course hot meal is cooked on a field kitchen composed of dustbins pierced with holes. Despite war time cooking difficulties the store continues to cater with peace time efficiency for their restaurant - seating 500 - and their luncheon bar at which many snack lunches can be served.
