Description

Two men riding on a carriage. One of four satirical sketches used for headed notepaper satirising the speculative investment fever of the railway mania that took place between 1845 and 1846. This fever resulted in riches for some and losses for others. Printed by Rock and Co (London), taken from the Dendy Marshall collection.
