Description

Nathaniel Hill operated as a globe maker and engraver in Chancery Lane, London. In addition to making and selling mathematical instruments his company also surveyed estates and produced maps 'neatly drawn and engraved'. The trade card shows engravings of mathematical instruments including telescopes, sextants and globes.
