Description

Engraving printed by F R R Isaac of London. Based in Faversham, Kent, J Alefounder advertises himself as a physician with 'prescriptions accurately dispensed' to horses and cattle. He sold spices, patent medicines and veterinary medicines. The central image shows a small distillery.
