Engraving by C Eisen and J Ingram. The card states that Sr Magny is 'Ingenieur pour l'Horlogerie, les Instruments de Mathematique et de Phisique ainsi qu'en Mecanique'. That is, he was an engineer specialising in the watch and clockmaking industry, and in 'mathematical, physical and mechanical instruments'. A group of cherubs are shown holding pocket watches, surrounded by mathematical instruments including compases, thermometers, sundials and an armillary sphere in a clasical setting. On the left is an organ.
