This hairdresser's hot dog spent most of its day occupying a seat with the ladies, most of whom were regulars. To create amusement his owner often put on a handy set of curlers in a net. Photographer John Drysdale trained at Guildford School of Art in the early 1950s. He has worked in photo-reportage, advertising and industrial photography and won numerous awards. His most memorable work has been in the field of humour, working with children and animals.
