Lillie Langtry (1853 - 1929), born Emilie Charlotte Le Breton on Jersey, was a British music hall singer and stage actress famous in her day for her stage presence, her beauty and wit. She was also known as the mistress of the Prince of Wales, Albert Edward, the Earl of Shrewsbury and Prince Louis of Battenberg. In 1897 Langtry moved to California, became an American citizen and started a vineyard which produces wine to this day.
