An Asociate's Ticket for the 66th meeting of the British Asociation for the Advancement of Science. The ticket features a plan of the reception hall used for the meeting. The aim of the asociation, founded in 1831, was to present to the public the latest scientific discoveries, and to debate the effects on people's lives these innovations would have. The annual meeting was an important public arena for the discusion of scientific matters.
