Etching by George Cruikshank of two men and two women looking for accommodation during the Great Exhibition of 1851. As the landlady, who is holding a candle, shows them an available, and particularly unattractive, room she says 'this is all I have ma'm - I have only just let the last tent on the tiles to a foreign nobleman'. The cavernous room consists of a broken chair, a makeshift dresing table made from a barrel and tray, and a hammock to sleep in. Published by D Bogue.
