This lithograph is one of eight salt mining scenes taken from a booklet entitled 'Durrenberg und seine Grubenfahrt' ('Durrenberg and its Mine Rides') by Stiesberger, designed as a souvenir for tourists visiting the famous salt mines at Durrnberg (modern spelling), near Salzburg, Austria.
