Description

Way bill or receipt isued in the name of the Rt Hon Herbert Lord Viscount Windsor, the owner of the mine. The receipt shows the viscount's family crest and is for a stated number of Newcastle chaldrons - the standard measurement for coal - which was the equivalent of 36 bushels, or approximately 2134 kilos.
