Description

Engraving by A Ashley after J F Burrell showing a steam locomotive hauling a train of carriages. Named after its asociations with William Shakespeare's play 'King Lear', the chalk cliff was formerly known as 'Hay Cliff' and now incorporates the Channel Tunnel, which runs from Kent to Calais, France.
