Lithograph, drawn and lithographed by Arthur Fitzwilliam Tait (1819- 1905) showing pasengers awaiting a train on Crewe Station, on the London & North Western Railway line. During the early part of his career, Tait learned the technique of lithography and produced many detailed architectural prints. He went on to become a respected painter of animals and member of the American Hudson River School.
