Description

Engraving made after the model by Mr Roberts of Sharp Roberts & Co. The Grand Centrifugal Railway was an early rollercoaster, designed and constructed by Dean & Esplin. It consisted of 'two circles 80 feet in circumference' and the participants sat in sledges for the ride, as depicted here.
