Description

"Etching by Norman James showing a busy platform at Liverpool Street Station, with passengers embarking and disembarking trains with their luggage. Liverpool Street Station was built as the London terminus of the Great Eastern Railway (GER), and completed in 1874. The station's roof was designed by the GER's chief engineer, Edward Wilson."
