Description

Coloured lithograph by Ed Gilks. Windsor Castle was built over 900 years ago by William the Conqueror (1027-1087) and sits above the river Thames and near Saxon hunting grounds. In 2003 Windsor Castle was still a royal residence and the largest occupied castle in the world.
