Description

Lithograph showing the Waterproofing Works of George Spills & Co including the canalside, sailing barges at staithe, outbuildings, wagons and the tall chimney. Established in 1844, George Spill & Co were manufacturers of India rubber and oiled waterproof clothing. The factory was situated at Stepney Green in East London.
