Stipple engraving by William Hincks showing an idealised picture of rural life produced for the Earl of Moira. Three women spinning and winding thread in a cottage, while a fourth tends the children and cooks. Two of the women sit at traditional wooden spinning wheels while the third uses a winding wheel. The cooking is being done in a large cast iron pot over an open fire.
