"Etching by Frank H Mason of the interior of William Beardmore & Co Ltd's Parkhead Forge, Glasgow, Scotland. Parkhead Forge was used for the manufacture of armour plates, guns, heavy steel forging and casting and railway and shipbuilding material. The forge was established in 1842. One of a series of six etchings in a souvenir portfolio issued at British Empire exhibition in 1924."
