Engraving titled 'Machina da Batter travi fabricata in Verona e posta in uso l'anno MDCCXLVI', (engine for driving piles, made in Verona and put into use in 1746). The vesel was a 'flat boat for repairing the margins of the River Adige', in Northern Italy. Above are details of the mechanisms involved. From the workshop of Gazoliano.
