The cathode ray tubes being manufactured here were used in the Mallard projection TV system. Mallard manufactured all their own products and were renouned for high quality products through fastidious quality control. For instance, the female asemblers shown here are wearing nylon overalls in an attempt to reduce the amount of dust in the atmosphere.
