Description

York ham was the smoked salmon of the meat trade and the Marsh Brothers firm were celebrated for producing high quality examples. However this was one of a range of pork and bacon products produced using traditional methods and acclaimed nationally. Marsh and Baxter had a factory in Dudley . Photographed by Walter Nurnberg who transformed industrial photography after WWII using film studio lighting techniques.
