Engraving taken from the 'Illustrated London News'. A comic depiction of disgruntled pasengers at a station struggling with their luggage during a cab strike. Thousands of strikes erupted during the latter half of the 19th century, some of the most furious were the Great Railroad Strike of 1877, the Haymarket Riot of 1886, and the Pullman strike of 1894.
