Description

New York City gave a tickertape welcome on Broadway to Jim and Amy Mollison (nee Johnson) after their transatlantic crosing in 'Seafarer'. They attempted the non-stop flight from England to New York via Newfoundland and Canada. Unfortunately they ran out of fuel les than 50 miles from their destination and crashed. They were both injured, but soon recovered in New York.
