Hand-coloured caricature engraving by George Cruikshank after T Greenwood, depicting a farcical ballooning scene. Various aerial contraptions can be seen hovering in the sky, while on the ground below a taxi rank of balloons replaces the traditional Hackney carriage as the popular means of transport.
