Bridges over the newly completed Coalville branch of the Ashby & Nuneaton joint railway. The railway was constructed under the joint ownership of the Midland Railway and the London & North Western Railway. It served the towns and industries centred on the Leceistershire coalfield and included a branch to the mining town of Coalville. The bridges were built of local brick.
