Description

Oil on canvas portrait (artist unidentified) of the Rotherham-born railway engineer Isaac Dodds (1801-1882). Dodds was the engineer on the Sheffield & Rotherham Railway in South Yorkshire, for which he designed the locomotive engine 'The Cutler'.
