Studio portrait by Maull and Polyblank. Brodie (1783-1862) was profesor of comparative anatomy and physiology at the Royal College of Surgeons, London and wrote papers on poisons and diseases of the joints. He was also surgeon to George IV, William IV, and Queen Victoria. Dimensions: 298mm x.227mm.
