Sir Boverton Redwood (1846-1919) was a prominent petroleum chemist who with his brother, founded the B & R Redwood Consulting Practice. He also co-founded, and became the first President of, the Institution of Petroleum Technologists, now known as the Institute of Petroleum, in 1913.
