'A family applying Wray's Aromatic Spice Plaster, preparatory to undertaking a journey by the Railroad'. Ink cartoon by Charles Alexander Saunders (1796-1864), first secretary of the Great Western Railway 1833-1863. A mother applies some patent remedy to one of her children, presumably as protection against the rigours of railway travel. Her husband reads the manufacturer's leaflet.
