Description

Original plans produced by the father and son engineering team of George and Edward Scheutz for their Difference Engine or tabulating machine. They built an engine that was a means of eliminating errors of calculation, transcription and printing, by producing multiple copies when printing log tables. They completed three engines, a prototype and two production models.
