Photograph taken with a Kodak Pocket camera. George Eastman's Kodak Pocket cameras were as foolproof as 19th century technology could make them. Everything appeared sharp from about 1.5 metres (5 feet) to the far distance, so the photographer could move close enough to frame quite small objects such as this dog.
