Description
One of a series of railway carriage prints entitled 'Railway Architecture', by Kenneth Steel (b 1906), produced for British Railways, London Midland Region (BR/LMR). The Citadel Railway Station in Carlisle, Cumbria, was designed in 1847 by Sir William Tite, the architect responsible for the Royal Exchange in London.
