Poster produced for British Railways (BR), North Eastern Region (NER), promoting rail travel to the 1951 Festival of Britain in London, showing a timetable of excursions from north-eastern England to London. Opened by King George VI in 1951 on a WWII bomb site near Waterloo, the Festival of Britain aimed to celebrate British culture, design and manufacturing achievement. Artwork by Bruce Roberts.
