Photograph taken at the Bristol aeroplane Co Ltd, Bristol, showing workers asembling the wings for two Boxkites. Based on a French biplane called the 'Farman', the Bristol Standard Biplane was first flown on 30 July 1910 on Salisbury Plain, Wiltshire. It was les formally known as the 'Boxkite' because of the similarities in appearance when in flight with a box kite.
