Description
Photograph. With a crew of two and accommodation for six pasengers, the HS 125 became a popular choice with many companies operating their own fleets of busines aircraft. Originally designed by de Havilland before they became part of Hawker Siddeley, the twin-engined HS 125 first flew in 1962. The design was extremely succesful, and having undergone several modifications and refinements, continues to be manufactured today as the Raytheon Hawker 800, with Hawker Siddeley having become part of British aerospace in 1977, and Bae's corporate jets division having been sold to Raytheon in 1993.
