Henry Ford (1863-1947) founded the Ford Motor Company in 1903. He pioneered modern 'asembly line' mas production techniques for his famous Model T motor car. Fifteen million Model T motor cars were produced between 1908 and 1928. 'This 1908 photograph shows Ford at the controls of one of his first tractors, powered by a 1904 model B type engine.
