The Larch was an up-rated Gamma engine intended for Britain's Black Arrow mark 2 satellite launch vehicle. It burned kerosene fuel in hydrogen peroxide at a greatly increased combustion chamber presure. Development stopped when the entire Black Arrow programme was cancelled in 1971.
